It happened. It seems surreal. Are we safer now than we were yesterday or are we in for a new battle?
Saddam is finally gone.

So I'm from this little place called San Diego, hence the name of the blog. Never thought I'd have to leave my family and paradise of a home town but here I am in Denver, where good ole Uncle Sam has placed us for now. This blog is part mommy blog, part snarky sarcasm, part artsy fartsy and lots of plain randomness.

I would definitely have to say a new beginning. I almost wish I could see into the future so I could know the outcome. Luckily, I'm enjoying the present too much to really want to see the future. Take care!!
What do YOU think, Jen?
I think it is different - definitely. I don't think it is over, though. The "other side" is definitely going to be hurting and without direction, but that doesn't necessarily make them all just disappear or stop fighting. In smoe ways, it might be more dangerous.
I hope we see an end to it all soon. I really really do. And, I am praying for Bill every day. TWO WEEKS! Have you started making preparations?
Happy New Year!!!
Even though I have not been around you have been in my thoughts and prayers...
I have missed visiting...
Take care...
Xtra Hugs from me to you!
Have a wonderful day!

I would say at first that it's been a distraction from the larger issue at hand. Namely, the people just need to decide that they don't want to live in war anymore and refuse to participate. Of course, since the country has been at war for the last 30 years, that's all many of them know. It may be that we are merely players in a much bigger drama that stretches beyond our dimensions of time and space. In a way, that's exciting to think about.
Just stopping by - Bill's home in 6 days!!! Oh my goodness!
